How staging animation works
A staging animation is a short film of one room changing. It is not a single click on an empty photograph, and it is not a full property video. You prepare two matching pictures, then ImageMotion animates the difference.
01
Upload your photograph
Start with an empty room photograph or a pair you already have. The animation needs both the empty frame and the furnished frame of that same room.
02
Stage your space
Furnish the room with realistic furniture and interior design. Do that in Virtual Staging, or use a staged photograph you already have. Staging and animation are separate steps.
03
Bring it to life
In ImageMotion, choose a reveal style and animate the transformation into a short video for property listings, websites and social media.
Prepare the pair
Photograph the empty room, then furnish that same view. The two files should share a viewpoint. ImageMotion accepts JPG, PNG and WEBP. If the pictures differ in orientation or size, the app warns you and still lets you continue. The closer the pair, the more the furniture reads as arriving in a real room rather than a scene change.
Furnishing the still is its own job. Do it in Virtual Staging, or upload a staged image you already trust. Staging Animation will not design furniture that is absent from the second photograph, and it will not move walls, windows or the camera to invent a different interior.
When both images are ready, open Staging Animation inside ImageMotion. Choose a style, a length, a shape and a motion level, then generate. The button shows the credit cost first. The finished file is an MP4.
Reveal styles
These styles are built into the engine. ImageMotion displays the subset switched on for the product. Furniture Removal plays the pair in reverse, from furnished back to empty. People Placing is the only style that includes people, and they leave before the last frame.
Furniture Build
Larger pieces appear first, then the smaller ones, each settling into the position it holds in the furnished photograph.
Soft Reveal
The whole room fades from empty to furnished together. The camera stays locked.
Cinematic Reveal
A single slow push-in accompanies the change from the empty photograph to the furnished one.
Pop into Place
Each piece appears in its final spot, one at a time. A direct style for a short social clip.
Sweep Reveal
One wipe crosses the frame and uncovers the finished room. The camera does not move.
Slide In
Furniture travels a short distance along the floor and stops where the staged photograph places it.
Furniture Removal
The clip runs the other way. Pieces leave one at a time until the room matches the empty photograph.
People Placing
Movers carry in the furniture from the staged photograph, set it down, and leave. The final frame is empty of people.
Where this sits beside the other tools
| Staged still | Staging animation | Listing video | |
|---|---|---|---|
| What it shows | The furnished room, frozen | The change from empty to furnished | Motion across the photos you supply |
| What you upload | One empty room | Empty and furnished, same viewpoint | The stills for the film |
| Where you make it | Virtual Staging | ImageMotion, Staging Animation | ImageMotion, new video |
Use the furnished still where a portal expects a photograph. Use the animation on a website, in an email or on social, where video can play. A listing film — several rooms, titles, music — is a separate ImageMotion project, described on ImageMotion.ai.
